As I stated in my response of 2 February in response to the Rt Hon Member's Question 109061, the UK would welcome a Commonwealth assessment mission returning to Zimbabwe in due course to follow up on its recommendations from its last visit and the subsequent election observation report.

I refer the Hon Member to the statement made to the House by the Foreign Secretary on 19 March outlining the UK's Official Development Assistance (ODA) allocations for the period up to 2028-29, and to the accompanying documents setting out the detail of those allocations. I also refer him to the evidence provided by the Foreign Secretary and the Minister of State for International Development at the International Development Committee on 24 March, where they addressed questions at length about the Government's ODA policies and allocation decisions.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has funded disability inclusion activities in the Commonwealth through the Commonwealth Disabled People's Forum (CDPF) since 2019, and provided around £2 million to support disabled people's organisations in the Commonwealth through the Disability Rights Fund (DRF) between 2021 and 2024. The FCDO, alongside the Disability Unit in the Office for Equal Opportunities, has been an active member of the Expert Working Group developing the Commonwealth Disability Inclusion Action Plan.
We plan to publish indicative allocations for the next three years shortly, but in the interim, we will not speculate on the potential impact of hypothetical funding scenarios on different programmes and countries. The specific funding percentage requested by the Hon Member is not readily available, and could only be calculated and verified at disproportionate cost.

The timing of any Commonwealth assessment mission is for the Secretary General and the Government of Zimbabwe to agree. Ghana's full membership of the International Organisation of La Francophonie was confirmed more than fifteen months ago, and there are no indications that it has had any impact on Ghana's status as a historic and valued partner in the Commonwealth.

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what steps her Department is taking to help ensure that there is safe drinking water available in (a) Sri Lanka and (b) all other Commonwealth countries.
The UK is committed to supporting countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 6 target of universal access to water and sanitation by 2030. Since 2015, we have supported 40 million people to gain access to clean water and sanitation. This includes beneficiaries in Commonwealth countries in Africa and Asia such as Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
DFID has also supported Commonwealth countries in the Caribbean. For example, following Hurricane Maria DFID allocated £25 million to Dominica to repair and strengthen the water supply system across the island.
DFID’s bilateral programme in Sri Lanka country closed in 2006 when the country graduated to middle income status, and DFID does not have water and sanitation programmes in Sri Lanka.
