That this House is alarmed at the Government's calculation that Iraq is polluted by 2,688 unexploded cluster bomblets delivered by United Kingdom forces; regrets that the total of unexploded cluster bombs dropped by other coalition forces has yet to be calculated; believes this legacy and those of uncounted uranium-tipped weapons will continue to inflict death, injury and disease on Iraqis for decades; and calls for a reconsideration of the use of these weapons because of their unique lethal threats to civilians and in particular children.
