That this House, welcomes the creation of the Andy's Man Club mental health peer-to-peer support group for men in Dunfermline; notes that the Dunfermline arm of this UK-wide group was set up by Craig Inglis and Ryan McKillop to provide a source of support to men like them who experience mental ill health; recognises the importance of this service in Dunfermline and West Fife where at least six young men have committed suicide within the last few months alone; understands that the Dunfermline Club has proven a huge success already, with 58 men attending a recent meeting; acknowledges that suicide remains the single biggest killer of men aged under 45 in the UK; also welcomes the mental health campaign recently launched by local newspaper the Dunfermline Press, in which Andy's Man Club has featured; and pays credit to Craig and Ryan for their efforts in establishing a welcoming, friendly space for their peers to talk freely about their mental health without judgement and helping tackle the stigma surrounding mental illness amongst men.

That this House congratulates Madras College, St Andrews, and Kieler Gelehrtenschule, Schleswig-Holstein, in celebrating 62 years of The Kiel Exchange or Schottenaustausch, believed to be the oldest uninterrupted exchange programme between two schools in Scotland and Germany; marks the fact the exchange was set up by two historians Dr John Thompson, Rector of Madras College, and Carl Dietrich Erdmann, Professor of Modern History at Keil University, resulting in the first exploratory visit to St Andrews by Dr Oswald Hauser, of the Kieler Gelehrtenschule, in 1956, followed by the first group of German pupils to Scotland in 1957 and a reciprocal trip made by 28 Madras College pupils in 1958; commends both schools in their approach to the exchange involving both S6 and S5 pupils ensuring the link continues; notes that on the 50th anniversary of the exchange in 2007, the two schools were the first recipients of the UK-German Connections Celebratory Fund and again received support from the Fund on the 60th anniversary; and welcomes pupils and teachers visiting St Andrews between 15 and 23 June 2019.

That this House remembers local Kennoway man, Mr William Shields, known as Wullie to his friends, after he sadly passed away in November 2018; highlights and commends the numerous ways in which he contributed to the local community in Kennoway and beyond, including setting up the local Youth Club in the '60s which benefited so many local children over many years and a number of generations; further commends his achievements in Judo which he taught until the age of 83 at Kirkland High School and being the first to take a Judo team from Glenrothes to win bronze in the Fife Olympiad and also in achieving black belt 9th Dan, making him a Professor of Judo; notes that Wullie received an award for Citizen of the Year for Kennoway in 2002; welcomes the proposals to have a permanent memorial for him in Kennoway; extends our condolences to his family and friends at this sad time; and recognises the great community spirit of Wullie for which he was known and loved.
