Whether in light of case involving Consolidated Sterling Deposits Incorporated, Page & Associates & Hamilton House Associates, full details of which were reported to DTI in 1987, it is proposed to take any action to protect depositors who in future may be placed in a similarly prejudicial position to those depositors in Consolidated Sterling Deposits.

Why the Insitution of Electronics & Electrical Incorporated Engineers & other incorporated engineering Institutions have been excluded from Schedule 1, part 2, of proposed European Communities (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 1990 when their qualifications comply fully with Article 1d of the Directive 89/ 48/EEC & they are recognised by this country in same special form as Chartered Engineering Institutions & the Engineering Council.
