The Vice-Chamberlain of the Household acquainted the House that he had a Message from His Majesty the King to this House, signed by His Majesty's own hand. The Message was presented to the House, and read to the House by the Speaker, as follows: His Majesty requests that consideration should be given by the House of Commons to the provision made by Parliament for the financial support of His Majesty and other members of the Royal Household, and to the arrangements to be made for the continuation of such support in the reigns of His successors. His Majesty desires that the hereditary revenues of the Crown, for any period for which such support is provided, should be at the disposal of the House of Commons. In commending these matters to His faithful Commons, His Majesty relies on their attachment to his person and family to adopt such measures as may be suitable for the occasion.
