To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether she has undertaken a survey of residents of Bromsgrove constituency's satisfaction with West Mercia Police regarding (a) general policing and (b) the handling of cross-boundary crime.
Under current local governance arrangements for policing, Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) are responsible for holding Chief Constables to account and have been since they were first elected in November 2012. It would therefore be for the elected West Mercia PCC, John Campion, to decide if a survey of Bromsgrove residents is necessary.
The Government has committed to abolish PCCs at the end of their term of office in May 2028. That remains the plan. The Home Office continues to work with those in policing and local government to refine policy and plan for successor arrangements.
As part of the Government’s wider Police Reform agenda, we will be creating a new national force, the National Police Service (NPS) which will enable local forces to focus on local crime and strengthen our ability to deal with national and cross-border serious and organised crime threats. Additionally, we will carefully consider governance of forces when considering the Independent Review of Force Structure’s recommendations.

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what progress he has made towards development of a cross-justice system victims survey.
The Government recognises the importance of understanding victims' experiences so that their feedback can inform and shape improvements across the criminal justice system.
To inform consideration of how victim feedback might be collected, in October 2023, the Ministry of Justice commissioned Verian to undertake a feasibility study on how feedback could be gathered from victims on their experiences and the delivery of their rights under the Victims’ Code. The findings continue to inform ongoing work to develop approaches for collecting and using victim feedback across the criminal justice system.
The Ministry of Justice recently ran a consultation on the Victims’ Code. The consultation sought the views of sector experts, criminal justice practitioners, young people and victims themselves.
The Department is now taking the time to consider nearly 200 responses and will issue a public response ahead of finalising the new Code and bringing it into force. The findings will also help inform future work to understand and measure victims’ experiences of the criminal justice system and the delivery of Victims’ Code rights.

Defra publishes the data from the June Survey of Agriculture annually. Constituency level data for that dataset is only published on years where a full census is run (which is once every ten years, with the most recent census being carried out in 2021). It would not be statistically robust to publish constituency level data from June 2025 or June 2026, although the data for those years is presented at other geographical breakdowns (e.g. region, county/unitary authority and local authority).

Demographic questions - including questions on gender identity and sexual orientation - are asked to all respondents of the Community and Engagement Survey (CES). Demographic data enables us to identify differences and changes over time in engagement, experiences and attitudes between demographic groups. This is the case for all topics covered by the CES, as is common practice, and is not unique to the domestic tourism sector. Collecting this data also enables us to make sure that responses are representative of the English population (aged 16+), and are not biased towards any demographic group.

Defra publishes various measures of farmer confidence, including a summary of free text comments by theme, collected via the Farmer Opinion Tracker. The latest results are published here and the next set of results will be available on the same page on 29 July 2026.

Agricultural Land Classification surveys are typically conducted using existing site survey reports, where available.
Where this isn’t the case, the developer commissions a new survey, which should be conducted by soil scientists, or experienced soil specialists who are members of the British Society of Soil Science, the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants, or similar professional bodies.
The quality and accuracy of Agricultural Land Classification reports are reviewed by Natural England. Their findings are reported to planning decision-makers.
