Section 14 of the Scotland Act 2012 came into force on 3 July 2012 by virtue of article 2 of the Scotland Act 2012 (Commencement No.1) Order 2012 (S.I. 2012/1710). The Government are working with the Scottish Government, the Crown Office and the courts to enable Sections 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 of the Scotland Act 2012 to be brought into force as soon as is practical.
