That this House congratulates Essex County Council Library Service for organising the 1999 Summer Reading School, enabling local children to show their commitment to maintaining and improving their reading skills through the summer holidays; and further, congratulates Essex County Council Library Services upon their initiative in promoting the Sunday opening of libraries throughout the county.
