LSG LUFTHANSA SKYCHEFS
That this House condemns the action of LSG Lufthansa Skychefs in sacking 273 of their employees who were engaged in a lawful one-day strike following a breakdown of negotiations on new working practices, including the involvement of ACAS; notes that LSG Lufthansa Skychefs, which is the largest airline catering company in the world; refused a proposal to go to arbitration; calls on the company to reinstate the sacked workers and resume proper negotiations with the Transport and General Workers Union; and calls on the Government to introduce legislation to protect the rights of workers engaged in legal industrial action.
