USA AND THE KYOTO PROTOCOL

That this House expresses concern at the USAs unwillingness to support a number of international agreements; condemns the President of the USA, George W. Bush, for refusing to sign the Kyoto protocol; notes that the USA is the single biggest producer of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide; and calls on the UK Government and the EU to use all available means to ensure the USA plays a more positive role in the international community and signs the Kyoto protocol.
