Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Gregory Campbell (Democratic Unionist Party), on Tuesday, 1 July 2003, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 13 members in total.
AIR SERVICES TO NORTHERN IRELAND
That this House recognises the importance of direct air services between Northern Ireland and London; views with concern the recent development at bmi British Midland whereby most Belfast City-London Heathrow services have not only been fully booked but have had a number of potential passengers 'wait-listed' for flights, causing people to be delayed or inconvenienced; and calls on the company to establish whether additional flights are necessary and to take steps to see if they can be accommodated.
