CONSTRUCTING BETTER PUBLIC SERVICES
That this House recognises the importance of the construction industry in delivering new and improved public buildings and infrastructure; welcomes the Construction Products Association's recent report, Achievable Targets, as a useful and timely review of the Government's targets and its progress towards delivering new and refurbished hospitals, schools, housing, roads and railways; notes that both the public and industry recognise the importance of ongoing investment in our public buildings and infrastructure; and therefore urges the Government to ensure delivery of its targets in these crucial areas.
