SHOWMEN'S GUILD OF GREAT BRITAIN
That this House congratulates the Showmen's Guild of Great Britain on its excellent work, running fairs and shows throughout the country; notes the Guild has over 4,700 members and ensures that health and safety measures are imposed on fairgrounds in addition to representing the interests of members of the Guild; further notes that the Showmen's Guild achieved the impressive feat of running a successful and profitable event at the Millennium Dome; and looks forward to the Showmen's Guild continuing to enjoy fairs and events organised by their members.
