AVIATION AND CLIMATE CHANGE
That this House recognises the need to address the growing impact of aviation emissions on climate change; notes that inclusion of the aviation industry in the EU Emissions Trading Scheme in 2008 will encourage research and development into cleaner aviation technology; and welcomes the UK Government's commitment to use its Presidency of the European Union in 2005 to achieve this aim.
