Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Graham Stringer (Labour), on Wednesday, 18 October 2006, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 45 members in total.
MANCHESTER AIRPORT BA CABIN CREW
That this House notes with alarm British Airway's (BA) intention to relocate cabin crew currently based at Manchester Airport to Heathrow; expresses grave concern that BA has refused to engage in meaningful discussions with the staff affected and their trade union representatives as regards the financial basis of this decision; and calls on BA to reconsider this unfair and short-sighted decision.
