Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Stephen Pound (Labour), on Tuesday, 7 November 2006, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 5 members in total.

CHANNEL FIVE NEWS REPORT ON VEHICLE MILEAGE ADJUSTMENTS

That this House notes with concern that it has been revealed by Jason Farrell's Channel Five News investigation that it is legal to sell the software to turn back the mileometer of a car, van or lorry and to undertake the process of clocking but that it remains illegal to sell on a vehicle that has had the mileometer rewound; and calls on the Government to investigate, as a matter of urgency, this anomalous and potentially lethal situation.
