RWANDA
That this House remembers with solemnity the Rwandan Genocide of 1994; commends the people of Rwanda on their astonishing social, economic and technological progress since then; deplores all genocide-denial and ethnic divisionism; urges the UK Government and other EU nations to pursue suspected genocidaires with vigour; encourages the Rwandan government to continue to address perceived issues of media openness and political space; and further commends Rwanda's new and growing contribution to the Commonwealth.
