Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Jim Shannon (Democratic Unionist Party), on Wednesday, 13 February 2019, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 9 members in total.
ANNIVERSARY OF M62 IRA BOMBING
That this House notes the 45th anniversary of the M62 bombing which killed 12 people on a coach including a father and mother and their two sons aged five and two; expresses again the most sincere sympathies to the families of those who still grieve and those who were injured; reaffirms absolute condemnation of all people who believe that bombs and bullets are welcome in a democratic process; and calls for a fresh investigation into the atrocity to ensure that the perpetrators are found and face the weight of the judicial system.
