LIVERPOOL - EUROPE WEEK
That this House wholly supports the trade exhibition Liverpool-Europe Week, organised by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry to be held from 4th to 7th October; believes the exhibition is a great opportunity for both the entrepreneurial spirit on Merseyside and the region's cultural strengths to be displayed; recognises that the success of dynamic Merseyside companies within the single Market is vital for the prosperity of Liverpool; welcomes initiatives such as Liverpool-Europe Week which aim to advise firms on exporting and how to do business with Europe and help to force beneficial links without European partners; and wishes every success to all those companies displaying their products and services during Europe Week.
