Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Peter Fry (Conservative), on Monday, 19 October 1992, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 11 members in total.
BRITISH / US CIVIL AVIATION
That this House, noting the immediate recommencement of negotiations between Her Majesty's Government and the United States Government regarding liberalisation of civil aviation services, urges that agreement be reached as swiftly as possible provided that there is a gain to British airlines and the consumer, whilst helping to ensure the early acceptance by the USA of the proposed alliance between British Airways and US Air, and believes that this is in the interest of both countries and the employees of both airlines.
