- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many civilian contractors employed by the Department have died during their service in (a) Iraq and (b) Afghanistan since 1997.
- Answer

No officially accredited Ministry of Defence contractors have died on operations in Afghanistan or Iraq since the start of the current operations there, in 2001 and 2003 respectively.
