Expenditure on rent, rates and building insurance during the last three years on the DTI HQ estate where the DTI has lead responsibility in Government for the building is shown in the following tables (£ million ex VAT). The DTI HQ estate does not contain any buildings in Wales and Northern Ireland where it has lead responsibility for the payment of rent, rates and building insurance.
