Bicester Accommodation Centre

- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much of his Department's budget was allocated to building an accommodation centre for asylum seekers at Bicester in (a) 2003–04, (b) 2004–05 and (c) 2005–06.
- Answer

The capital budget allocation for the development of the trial of accommodation centres was £3 million in 2003–04 and £54 million in 2004–05. The capital budget allocation in 2005–06 was £52 million and related only to the centre near Bicester.
