Question: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many people work in construction in the UK.

(53520)""The latest available estimate for, September 2005, is that the number of jobs in the construction industry in the United Kingdom was 2,109,000.""This estimate, as with any from sample surveys, is subject to a margin of uncertainty."
