Question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many IT contracts have been put out to competitive tender since 2001 by date; how many companies tendered in each case; and which company won each tender.
Answer

The information requested can be provided only at disproportionate cost.The Treasury awards all contracts in accordance with Government procurement rules, which state that all IT contracts in excess of £2,500 should be subject to competition.
