- To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what role his Department is playing in the review of the academies programme; and if he will make a statement.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 21 November 2007, Official Report, column 916W. Treasury officials are working closely with PMDU and DCSF officials, both in carrying out the review and overseeing the review.
