- Question
- Pursuant to the question of the hon. Member for Chorley (Mr. Hoyle), the Minister knows that Germany, Italy and Spain have all decided what their position is on tranche 3. He also knows that his Department is considering various options in terms of the number of aircraft it would wish to evaluate. Therefore, will the Minister once and for all confide in this Parliament of the United Kingdom what options he is considering, and when he will make his mind up and make an announcement?
- Answer
-
There is no intention to keep the House out of the loop, but the situation is a lot more complicated than that. Discussions on tranche 3 continue between all of the nations.
