Cyprus: Armed Forces

- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many British servicemen are stationed at the British Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia.

As at 1 September 2009 there were 2,550 UK service personnel stationed in the Sovereign Base Areas in Cyprus.This figure has been rounded to the nearest 50 in order to provide a meaningful level of detail as there are constant service personnel movements in and out of the Sovereign Base Areas in Cyprus.
