Wildcat Helicopters

- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what progress has been made on the delivery of the new Wildcat helicopters ordered by his Department; and if he will make a statement.

The Lynx Wildcat project remains on track to meet its time, cost and performance targets. There has been no escalation in price and the planned in-service date remains at January 2014. The first flight of the trials aircraft took place successfully on 12 November 2009.
