Ex-servicemen: Care Homes

- (2) what steps his Department is taking to ensure the provision of residential and nursing home places for former service personnel diagnosed with service-related disabilities, long-term illnesses or age-related care needs; and if he will make a statement.

The MOD does not provide residential care for ex-service personnel. The MOD does, however, work with other Government Departments, local authorities and ex-service charities to ensure that residential care services take account of veterans' needs where appropriate.
