Topical Questions
- Question
- Link workers are a primary source for prisoners on release, supporting their reintegration into the community. How are the Government supporting this group, ensuring that it is adequately resourced and not undermined?
- Answer
-
We increasingly involve third sector and other organisations in offender management to make sure that proper arrangements are in place for those leaving prison, so that they do not fall between the cracks or between services and fail to get the support that they need. It is an increasing part of what we do.
