Asylum Seekers

- To ask Her Majesty's Government following the recent Human Rights Watch report Fast-Tracked Unfairness: Detention and Denial of Women Asylum Seekers in the UK, whether they will ensure that people with complex claims are not included in the fast-track asylum procedure; and whether complex gender-related persecution claims will be excluded from that procedure.
- Answer

No asylum seeker whose case is considered to be complex would be processed in the detained fast track procedure, irrespective of the basis of their claim.
