- Question
- To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the clarity of Special Direction GT46/41/6 of 21 December 2009 and the level of fines it produced.
- Answer
-
Detailed consideration was given to an application for a special direction, in respect of a time-limited goods vehicle loading bay in Fleet Road, Fleet, allowing the relevant prescribed sign to be placed in conjunction with a bay marking—but without the loading only carriageway legend as prescribed. Central government does not make assessments in respect of the level of penalty charges issued by individual local authorities.
