Energy: Shale Gas

- To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they have any plans to put in place a moratorium on the development of shale gas and hydraulic fracturing (fracking) pending further assessment of the environmental and health impacts of fracking.

The Government have no plans to introduce a moratorium on shale gas activities in the UK.
