Iran: Nuclear Weapons

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what his assessment is of the potential for the weaponisation of the Iranian nuclear programme.
Answer

In November the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expressed"““serious concerns””"about credible information that"““indicates that Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device.””"It also suggests that some activities relevant to the development of such a device may still be ongoing. We share these concerns and continue to call for full implementation by Iran of United Nations Security Council and IAEA Board of Governors Resolutions.
