- To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many of the teaching staff in England investigated by the General Teaching Council from foundation up to and including 2011 were found to be (1) guilty of professional misconduct, and (2) unsatisfactory in their teaching performance; and what action ensued in respect of persons in groups (1) and (2).

The following table shows the number of teachers in England who were investigated by the GTCE from foundation up to and including 2011 who were found to be (1) guilty of professional misconduct, and (2) unsatisfactory in their teaching performance. The action taken is in the left hand column.
