Diamond Jubilee 2012: Medals

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence pursuant to the answer of 16 April 2012, Official Report, column 543W, on diamond jubilee 2012: medals, whether those who have not qualified in the financial year 2011-12, but are still serving in the regular forces, are liable for call-up duties.
Answer

All regular members of the armed forces, providing they are assessed as fit to do so, are liable for worldwide deployment. This is a fundamental condition of service and is fully accepted.
