What proposals he has for the privatisation of the Benefits Agency.
Answer

Mr. Gunnell: To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what proposals he has for the privatisation of the Benefits Agency; and if he will make a statement. [41169] Mr. Lilley: There are no proposals to privatise the Benefits Agency. Involvement of the private sector in the Benefits Agency is part of a wider programme of change to reduce running costs and improve efficiency.
