What is the average shortfall in manning of resident battalions in Northern Ireland; what is the average percentage of nights out of bed for soldiers in those battalions; and what is their average weekly working time. - Will write.

Mr. Home Robertson: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the average shortfall in manning of resident battalions in Northern Ireland; what is the average percentage of nights out of bed for soldiers in those battalions; and what is their average weekly working time.
