To provide information on effectiveness of film badges & personal dosimeters in detecting the ingestion of particles emitting beta radiation when used by British military personnel during British nuclear tests in the Pacific in 1950s, what methods were used to detect levels of beta radiation during British nuclear tests in the Pacific in the 1950s; how film badges operated as indicators to overall body contamination of all forms of radiation when used by British military personnel during British nuclear tests in the Pacific in the 1950's.
