- To comment on the role of Ministry of Defence personnel in the examination of timing devices allegedly connected with the destruction of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie. - MOD scientists did assist the Dumfries and Galloway police. I am not prepared to give details that could prejudice criminal proceedings.
