- Whether the Charity Commissioners are right in their view expressed in a letter dated 2nd June 1992 that Section 29, subsection (1), of the Settled Land Act 1925 confers on charity trustees a power of sale of trust property without recourse to Section 23 of the Charities Act 1960 & without any order of the court or the Charity Commissioners.
