Question

What instructions HMG propose to issue to UK's Permanent Representative to ECs to ensure that items of importance included within the Preliminary Draft Budget of the European Communities for 1993 are included on Agenda drawn up by COREPER for meetings of ECOFIN commencing 23 July next as items for discussion & if they will state what Treasury evaluations of various Titles & Chapters of Preliminary Draft Budget are provided to UKs Permanent Representative in order that excessive inclusions on COREPER's List "A" (items needing no discussion or deliberation at meetings) are avoided.
