To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security, what measures he proposes to take to ensure that eligible households continue to have access to the fuel direct payment method.

Mr. Stunell: To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what measures he proposes to take to ensure that eligible households continue to have access to the fuel direct payment method. [19698] Mr. Bradley: We have no current plans to change the basis of the direct payments scheme which is available to all claimants receiving Income Support and income based Jobseeker's Allowance who meet the qualifying criteria.
