- To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, what assessment he has made of the risk of BSE being contained in meat imported into the United Kingdom from (a) the Republic of Ireland, (b) the Netherlands, (c) France, (d) Botswana, (e) Namibia and (f) Australia; and what assessment MAFF has made of the risk of contracting CJD from BSE contained in meat produced in the Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands, France, Botswana, Namibia, Australia and the UK.
