To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, when the honourable Member for Salisbury can expect a reply to his letter to the Minister of State for the Armed Forces, dated 24th July, about the closure of the Army Base Repair organisation depot at Ludgershall.

Mr. Key: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence when the hon. Member for Salisbury can expect a reply to his letter to the Minister of State for the Armed Forces, dated 24 July, about the closure of the Army Base Repair organisation depot at Ludgershall. [16947] Dr. Reid: I replied yesterday to the hon. Member's letter. I regret not having done so sooner.
