Mr. Clappison: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent representations he has made to Syria concerning (a) Hezbollah violence against Israel and (b) the Middle Eastern Peace Process. [141090] Mr. Hain: The Secretary of State raised both of the issues to which the hon. Member refers at his meeting with President Bashar Al-Asad in Damascus on 12 October.
