To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security, what the total cost was of (a) premium and (b) disregard allowances, including where appropriate their equivalents, in (i) 1970, (ii) 1980, (iii) 1990 and (iv) 1999. - Will write. (Holding answer 19 July 2000).
