To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what discussions he has had with BP Amoco concerning their investment in Petro China in relation to its plans to operate in Tibet.

Dr. Tonge: To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what discussions he has had with BP Amoco concerning their investment in Petro China in relation to its plans to operate in Tibet. [121586] Mr. Foulkes: Neither I, nor the Secretary of State, have had discussions with BP Amoco concerning their investment in Petro China.
