To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, what representations he has had from UK industry with regard to the abolition of the Imperial pint measurement for sparkling wines; and if he will make a statement. - I have received no representations asking for the pint to be permitted for sparkling wines. (Holding answer 18 October 2001).
